Interpretation

How to read the metrics.

Win rate in context

Win rate, average win, average loss and profit factor must be considered together.

Drawdown as stress

Drawdown describes the historical decline from an interim high – not a fixed future loss limit.

Contracts as market phases

Differences between contracts show that market phases and trade mix are not identical.

Data and validation methodology

The underlying trades were combined contract by contract from the supplied NinjaTrader exports and reconciled against trade count, wins, losses and net result.
