Setup

Contract expiry and history start serve different purposes.

  1. Select the displayed MGC expiry in NinjaTrader. A contract change on this website does not change your chart or strategy automatically.
  2. Set the Custom Range start to the exact date shown above. This controls the history loaded for the selected contract. It is separate from the date on which the contract change becomes effective.
  3. Check the setup against the customer guide. Last · Tick · 500, Tick Replay off and Do not merge remain the reference settings.

If no next change is published, use the current reference. Do not derive a future start date from the expiry month or a generic rollover calendar.
